Safety FirstAt Waunakee Gun Club, we pride ourselves in maintaining a safe environment for everyone.
Ear and eye protection are required at all times while on the sporting clays course. Only 2 shells should be loaded in your gun at one time (unless special event circumstances allow) and the action should ALWAYS be open if a shooter is not in the shooting stand. You can never be too safe. Safety is everyone's responsibility. You are required to be a WGC member or have signed a waiver of liability prior to shooting. If you are new to shooting sporting clays or need a refresher on safety, please take a few minutes to watch the following safety video before heading out to shoot. Firearm Safety - On the Sporting Clays Field If you notice any other shooters being unsafe or not wearing eye or ear protection, please give them a friendly reminder.
